TedMed 2013 Conference Portraits

This year, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to make two portraits for the 2013 TedMed conference in Washington D.C.  It was great to work on this huge project with a bunch of other RISD illustration students and professors and I got to learn about some cool projects and people in the medical field.

I drew a portrait for David Agus, a proponent of individualized health care and the founder of Navigenics.

I also made a portrait for Sally Okun, the creator of PatientsLikeMe.  It's a great social network system for patients to share personal experiences with illness, compare symptoms, and treatment methods.

It was definitely an exciting experience.  Many thanks to Robert Brinkerhoff, Fred Lynch, and art director Alexander Isley!
